Meet the Admirable Half-Nelson and become part of a fully inclusive dress-up gang.
Together we will make pirate hats and maps, create a voyage story, learn some real pirate facts and sing a song or two!
A one hour workshop suitable for children from 4-10 years and their grown-ups!
At 1pm on Saturday 2nd of November at Ye Old Rose and Crown, Walthamstow!

The Drag Pirates were launched at the National Maritime Museum in February 2020.
Then they went online in 2021: Drag Pirates: The Adventure of the Lost Ship | Storytelling for Children
In 2022, there were some live Drag Pirate workshops at Discover Childrens Story Centre (Stratford)
And last Summer they were part of the National Galleries "Summer on the Square" celebration, with the Admirable posing for drawing sessions whilst telling stories and singing songs.
This Summer, Drag Pirates popped-up at Somerset House!
About Arkem Mark Walton: Arkem is a performer, maker and creative enabler. They have over twenty years experience of creating interactive arty story experiences for families and young people in such settings as: the YoungV&A, Wilderness Festival and Southbank Centre. They love dressing up in outlandish costumes, making colourful things and getting everyone to join in.
